The lady in green (esp. La dama de verde) is a one-act solo dance performance by Djahel Vinaver and Joaquín López “Chas”. Djahel, as a dancer and actress, impersonates The lady in green, a complex mixture of contradictory female features such as a frustrated spinster, a bag lady, a sophisticated intellectual, a wishful bride and a dreamy playful child, presented in a rich combination of colors, gestures, sounds, words and objects. The sound and music composed especially for the piece is presented live on stage by Joaquín López “Chas”. Since 2012, this Mexican production has toured in Costa Rica, Argentina and several cities in Mexico.
