Have you ever experienced nudity? Alone or with other participants?
Have you ever been on stage nude? What was your experience?
Do you want to be part of an exploration where your own and others' nakedness is revealed in a safe space, where the boundaries between performers and audience are blurred?
Creative Playground for Adults is a workshop created by Márta LADJÁNSZKI and Zsolt VARGA.
You are warmly welcome to be part of the PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS (one in Vilnius, another one in Kaunas) where the workshop participants (who could apply to the program and were chosen by the choreographer) will share their experiences in movement. The workshop and its presentations were financially supported by the Culture Moves Europe program. Thanks for the further support to L1 Independent Artists Association of Public Utility (Budapest) and Naturists' Virtual Club Association (Hungary).
The Series of dance performances with/for naked spectators was created in collaboration with the L1 Association and the Hungarian Naturists Virtual Club Association (NaVKE). The basic idea came from Márta Ladjánszki, with whom NaVKE came into contact back in 2007. At the time, naturist spectators could watch several of her successful dance performances. In 2018, a longer-term program was launched with several performances, and in fact, after the first two private performances, the circle was opened and since then anyone who undertook to watch the performance naked, could join as a spectator.
Duration: 60 mins | N-18
Márta Ladjánszki studied classical ballet, gymnastic apparatus work and jazz- and modern dance in Budapest and in Vienna. In 1996 she was the co-founder of KOMPmÁNIA contemporary dance theatre company where Ladjánszki worked both as performer and co-choreographer. In 2001 she joined the L1 Association and has been acting as its artistic vice-director ever since. Being a freelance choreographer and dancer in Budapest she keeps on seeking opportunities to present her work in the field of contemporary dance to those who are open to and interested in her works of art and her provision for the human body.
Her inspiration comes directly from the body itself and transforms the inner thoughts into visible pieces of information. Ladjánszki firmly believes that we are all different (not only physically) and this makes our lives richer. This is why she celebrates the body in every piece she creates.
Zsolt Varga is a musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound and movement artist based in Budapest, Hungary and chairman of L1 Association since 2011.
