The performance is inspired by the life and work of Aldona Gustas (born 1932), a Lithuanian poet and artist living in Berlin.
"Each line is a love connection between thought and hand", she believes. The artworks appear in a kind of trance state. Closing her eyes in front of a piece of paper as if guided by the hand of God, the artist draws a line. This line connects Gustas' subconscious with the movement she is performing, with the paper, like two edges of a freshly made wound. The drawing is born per primam intentionem, revealing her exceptional talent.
This event is part of the „Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022“ program.
