Contemporary and urban dance performance “The Rite of Spring” based on a ballet and orchestral concert work by composer Igor Stravinsky. It is the first urban interpretation of the piece, where the main idea is sacrifice and a ritual of sacrifice. We destruct by sacrificing, and we fall into self-destruction while self-sacrificing. Creators are reflecting on a ritual as a form of experience which is dedicated to individuality’s alignment, conformation and adaptation.
Nominated for “The Golden Cross of the Stage” award for “The best light design” and “The best male performer” in 2016.
