In 2016, Mariko Kakizaki participated in International dance festival AURA 26 where she performed with the festival star LEV | Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar in dance performances “Sara” and “Killer Pig”.
This piece was created in May 2011, right after the big earthquake in East Japan. It is about the will of a human being while facing difficulties, about tiny but strong light in the darkness. No matter what we keep when we step forward. It might be only a small step, but it is a step that lead us to the light. This piece got a gold award at KIMDC 2011.
Born in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1981. He belonged to Noism dance company from 2004 to 2007. After leaving the company, he became a free-lancer and in 2011 established his own dance company “OrganWorks”. At the same time, he works domestically and internationally with choreographers like Ryohei Kondo, Shintaro Ooue, Carmen Werner, etc. Also, he collaborates with artists of different genres like theater company “Ikiume”, comedian Kentaro Kobayashi, visual artist Midori Harima, etc. Hirahara searches for possibilities of physical expressions with his belief of “creativity resides in quality”.

Mariko Kakizaki was born in Japan. Currently dancing in L-E-V | Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar dance company (2014-now). She took part in Batsheva Ensemble dance company (2012-2014).
Trained in rhythmic gymnastics during childhood and started dancing at the age of 18. Joined Shun project in 2010 and won the first place in the Korea International Modern Dance competition in 2011 (choreographed by Shintaro Hirahara).
Danced in the pieces created by Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin, Shintaro Hirahara, Carmen Werner, Setsuko Yamada, Sung Yong Kim.
